Kate Dollenmayer was born in Vermont and grew up in Massachusetts. She studied geology, animation, film and video at Harvard University and California Institute of the Arts. After nearly ten years in and around Los Angeles, she has recently returned to New England and now lives in Bennington, Vermont.
